With Travis not having a job, we probably cant afford this month's payment. GRRRR! We need to save everything we can. This sooooo sucks. Oh well, it could be a lot worse.

BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS.

FOR THE CLOTHES
THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT.

FOR MY SHADOW
THAT WATCHES ME WORK
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE.

FOR A LAWN
THAT NEEDS MOWING,
WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING,
AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME.

FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING
I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT
BECAUSE IT MEANS THAT
WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

FOR THE PARKING SPOT
I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING
AND THAT I HAVE BEEN
BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION.

FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM WARM.

FOR THE LADY
BEHIND ME THAT SINGS OFF KEY
BECAUSE IT MEANS
THAT I CAN HEAR.

FOR THE PILE
OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR.

FOR WEARINESS
AND ACHING MUSCLES
AT THE END OF THE DAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE BEEN
CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD.

FOR THE ALARM
THAT GOES OFF
IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS
BECAUSE IT MEANS THAT I AM  ALIVE.

 

Today ive been married for 7 longggggggg years lol. There has been more bad times than good, but Im happy for each day. We have no plans for tonight. We have no money (   plus Kassidy has school in the morning so we cant leave them at a babysitters all night. Actually, it just feels like a same 'ol regular day.

I bar-b-qued my first time ever Saturday night. I did it all by my self. Chicken, ribs, steak and potatos. And everyone kept telling how good it was! I was proud of myself

This is gonna be a short entry. Its storming here and the lights are probably going to go out.

BLINKIE OF THE DAY:

I hate to admit it, but yes.. I am a bad American.  Want proof? Okay. Up until about a year ago, I thought the White House was in Washington state! I had no idea it was on the other side of the continent  And on American Choppers last night, I found out that the Statue of Liberty is made of copper! Its greenish blue looking becase of the copper aging or tarnishing or whatever it does.
I had no idea. And with me being a big history buff, you'd think I would have known this.

My older brother and his family are on their way here. I talked to my mom this morning and she mentioned that they were coming and something about them wanting to bar-b-que. Well its raining so they have all decided to do it under my carport last minute. Ugh! I need a little warning. Good thing my house is clean.

BLINKIE OF THE DAY:

I am just tickled pink that I dont have to get up at 6am in the morning! The summer spoilt me. I had the girls and myself sleeping til atleast 9 or 10 every morning.  This change is taking its toll on me. I feel like I could sleep for days.

Trav is supposed to be home tomorrow.  The time away did me some good. I had him for 2 straight weeks and I was just about to go crazy.

Well, I think im fianally satisfied with my backgrounds and stuff. For now anyhow.
Oh yea! I have been asked to be an assistant manager of a MSN group. Ive been a member there for a long time. Its a PSP user group. If any of you use PSP or want to learn how.. Ill have the link up soon so you can join

Thats all the time I have to write. I need to get this poor house in order before he gets home. And seriously.. it will take starting right now to have that done!

Travis found a temporary job, so hes out of town for a day or two.  Kassidy started school monday so now its just me and Macy.

Yep, I changed my background again. Im really not liking this one. It seems too 'busy'. Ill prolly be changing it again and again for a few days so dont be surprised if you a different page everytime you visit.

 

my results came back negative!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!

Sorry I havent been around. My hubby lost his job so we have been gone everyday searching. Ill be back to write when things settle back down.
